The 2018"All For Transportation" (AFT) transit sales tax hike was ruled illegal by the Florida Supreme Court in 2021. Unfortunately over $525 million of unlawful taxes had already been collected. This amount is equivalent to $350 for every man, woman and child residing in Hillsborough County. The County Commission should ensure the people of Hillsborough County get their money back before any new tax is put on the ballot. Email Commissioners and tell them to refund the illegally taken tax back to the people.
