About Us

Fix Our Roads First, Inc. is a grassroots organization dedicated to improving transportation in Hillsborough County by reducing traffic congestion and enhancing commutes for all residents. We believe that existing tax revenues are sufficient to address our road infrastructure needs if spending priorities are realigned. With the county’s budget increasing by over 14% from $7.5 billion in FY22 to $8.6 billion in FY23, we urge County Commissioners to prioritize transportation improvements using current funds before proposing property or sales tax increases. Residents deserve practical solutions, not higher taxes. Let’s fix our roads first.
